About Luke Kilpatrick
Biography
Luke Kilpatrick is a diver, photographer, surfer, and boater who draws inspiration from his daughter Mia's love of the sea. After a career in graphic design, software engineering, and developer relations, he turned his focus to writing ocean adventures for young readers.
When he's not writing, Luke manages The Ocean View at Monterey Bay vacation rental and explores the California coast with his family. His work blends real marine science, environmental stewardship, and the kind of magic that can only happen when a child believes the ocean is worth fighting for.
